ROBO CALL 9/19/16
Good evening, this is Kim Zippie, Superintendent of the Commodore Perry School District.
I would like to cordially invite you and your family to attend Open House this Wednesday, September 21st from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. This is a great time to meet your child’s teachers and explore some of the exciting opportunities our students have to learn and grow.
One of the special events that will take place at 6:45 in High School Room 101 is the awarding of the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. This grant will be used to purchase a CNC router for our technology education program that will serve to offer additional opportunities for students to develop important and leading skills to help them thrive in the 21st century.
Immediately following this award presentation in the same room will be a brief session for high school students, future high school students and their families on Career Planning 101. This learning opportunity will provide valuable information for both students and their families that will focus on how students can be prepared for a successful career journey and how parents and guardians can help them on that journey. You will also learn about our new Kindergarten -12th Grade Career and Work Plan, as well as you can ask graduation and career planning questions.
This presentation will be offered a second time at 7:30 in the same Room 101.
Also, please stop by the elementary multi-purpose room and check out the Fall Book Fair.
We look forward to seeing you at Open House where you’ll see firsthand how we are cultivating students to thrive in the 21st century!
