Daniel Ledebur

High School Principal

It is an honor to be given the opportunity to serve the Commodore Perry School District and greater community as the high school principal.  I am impressed by the commitment of the board, administration, and staff to the development and education of the students we serve.  I am likewise committed to providing an educational environment where students are empowered by learning experiences where their curriculum, instruction, and motivation are unique to each individual.

This is an exciting time to be involved in the education of our young people.  Never before have students had such readily available opportunities or resources related to their education at their finger tips.  Having the opportunity to be in the classroom for the last 13 years and coaching high school athletics for 8 of those years, as well as the job and life experiences I gained while working with adjudicated youth from Philadelphia to Meadville, I understand the importance of challenging our students to thrive in their local and global communities.  It is my hope to continue to provide and increase the opportunities of the Commodore Perry High School students to compete both academically and athletically with other students both near and far.

Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have.  I believe in the importance of maintaining and creating a safe environment for our students to come to each day, and I believe this is aided through open communication or “an open door policy,” so please keep in contact with me, our office, or staff when necessary.  Again I am honored to be able to serve the Commodore Perry students, families, and community, and look forward to the upcoming school year.

Mr. Ledebur
